New beginnings: Congratulations to our 2020 trainees

As many of us are getting ready for some well-earned rest and relaxation over the festive period, Kinetic IT’s 2020 trainees are preparing to graduate from TAFE and complete their trainee program with us.

Congratulations to our 2020 trainees

In a year defined by the COVID-19 global pandemic, our 2020 trainees have not only managed to balance but thrive amongst rapid change and uncertainty while completing their Certificate IV in Information Technology and Networking. After combining their studies while working within some of Kinetic IT’s largest and most complex customer environments, it would be an understatement to say we are incredibly proud of what our trainees have achieved this year.

Traineeship Program Partner – South Metropolitan TAFE

We warmly thank our Traineeship Program Partner, South Metropolitan TAFE, and specifically Denis Coldham, Daniel Stanley, and all the lecturers for supporting the students throughout their studies.  We also congratulate our Manager of Planning, Participation and Mobilisation, Jessica Todd, and executive sponsor, Group Executive, Wayne Berriman for developing and bringing to life our first Traineeship Program.

Kinetic IT’s National Traineeship Program

Western Australia’s Premier, Mark McGowan, announced the critical importance of traineeships in rebuilding our state’s economy in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.  As an Australian-owned company, Kinetic IT is proud to support and contribute back to the Australian economy while building local ICT capability.

In 2021 we will launch Kinetic IT’s inaugural National Traineeship Program which, over the course of five years, will provide 50 traineeships for students completing Certificates III and IV in Information Technology-related disciplines.  It will also create targeted opportunities for females, mature-aged students reskilling into IT, and Indigenous Australians across Australia.

For now, we look forward to continuing our support for our 2020 trainees as they embark on new careers.

If you, or anyone you know, are looking to build a new career in the IT industry, the Kinetic IT Trainee program could be for you.  Please get in touch at careers@kineticit.com.au.
