Kinetic IT, the Australian-owned technology services company, has been named a Leader in two categories of the 2026 ISG Provider Lens® Public Sector Services and Solutions study.
The company achieved Leader positions in Strategy and Enablement Services (Consulting) and Managed IT Services for Australia.
The recognition reflects Kinetic IT’s more than 25 years of government experience, with capabilities spanning technology strategy, transformation and operation of complex, regulated public sector environments across Australia
ISG Provider Lens® research is produced by Information Services Group (ISG), a global technology research and advisory firm trusted by more than 900 clients, including over 75 of the world’s top 100 enterprises.
Its Provider Lens® studies are practitioner-led, independent evaluations built on data-driven research, giving public sector buyers a neutral benchmark for selecting strategic delivery partners.
In Strategy and Enablement Services (Consulting), ISG highlighted Kinetic IT’s sovereign-first advisory model, deep public sector expertise and growing consulting capability. The assessment recognised its alignment to Australian regulatory frameworks, growing advisory momentum and an ability to connect strategy, assurance and execution across complex government technology environments.
In Managed IT Services, Kinetic IT was recognised for its service integration expertise, Australia-based delivery model and demonstrated delivery at federal government scale, bringing together governance, service visibility and operational control across complex government technology environments.
ISG head of public sector Australia, James Deacon, said:
“Kinetic IT continues to demonstrate a strong understanding of the evolving needs of Australia’s public sector, combining practical technology expertise with a clear focus on outcomes. Its ability to support government organisations through complex digital and technology environments positions it well to deliver meaningful, sustainable value. This is a positive reflection of its continued commitment to public sector transformation.”
Kinetic IT Chief Executive Dean Langenbach said the recognition came at an important point in the company’s growth.
“Government has been an integral part of Kinetic IT’s business since our earliest years, and that experience continues to shape how we respond to the changing needs of our customers,” Mr Langenbach said.
“Australia’s government organisations are managing increasingly complex technology environments, alongside
growing expectations around resilience, security, digital services and the rapid evolution of AI. Our role is to bring
deep knowledge of those environments together with new capabilities and new ways of working to help customers respond to that change.”
Kinetic IT continues to extend its public sector expertise as part of its strategy to deepen customer relationships, expand sovereign capabilities across strategy, transformation and operation, and embed AI within its own operations and customer delivery. This includes applying AI across its operations and services while strengthening the managed services foundation of its public sector business.
Kinetic IT Chief Executive Dean Langenbach: “Australia’s government organisations are managing increasingly complex technology environments … Our role is to bring deep knowledge of those environments together.”
“We have a strong foundation in government, but we’re not standing still,” Mr Langenbach said.
“Technology is changing quickly, and so are the challenges facing our customers. Our focus is on continuing to build the expertise, services and partnerships that will be relevant to what government needs next, while retaining the customer knowledge and delivery discipline that have defined Kinetic IT for many years.”
