Kinetic IT appoints Jacqui Adams to lead national digital transformation and service operations.

Senior transformation leader brings deep expertise in AI, automation, operating model design and complex public sector environments.

SM New Appointment Jacqui Adams Updated

Kinetic IT, one of Australia’s largest privately owned sovereign technology services providers, has appointed Jacqui Adams as its new Head of Digital Transformation and National Services, reinforcing its commitment to modernising services, strengthening national operating capability, and delivering consistent, high-quality outcomes for customers across Australia.

With over 20 years’ experience across enterprise strategy, AI and automation, digital transformation, and program governance, Jacqui has led significant reform initiatives across Defence, Services Australia, KPMG, and multiple critical industry sectors. She has overseen transformation portfolios valued at up to $1.4 billion and led multidisciplinary teams of more than 130 people across high stakes, geographically dispersed environments.

In her new role, Jacqui will oversee Kinetic IT’s digital transformation advisory practice, and the national shared services capability. Her focus will be to help our customers strengthen their business and operating models through digital technologies, whilst supporting Kinetic IT to improve national alignment and ensure our service delivery models scale to meet evolving customer expectations.

Murray Thompson, Group Executive – Advisory and Transformation, Kinetic IT, said:

“Jacqui brings exceptional depth in strategic transformation, service design and operating model uplift – capabilities that align directly with where Kinetic IT is heading. She has delivered major change programs in some of Australia’s most complex environments, from national security to enterprise technology organisations, and understands what is required to elevate customer experience at scale.”

“Her leadership will help refine and strengthen our national approach to service delivery, provide greater clarity and consistency for customers, and ensure we remain a trusted partner for organisations with critical responsibilities to Australia’s communities, economy, and security. This appointment reflects our commitment to building a unified, future-ready capability that delivers genuine value.”

Jacqui’s career includes senior executive roles at Services Australia, where she matured the agency’s automation, AI and ethics capability; strategic advisory positions shaping organisational design and transformation strategies for Defence and national security agencies; and the delivery of major operating model reforms within professional services and complex enterprise environments. Her approach is grounded in transparency, stakeholder co-design, measurable benefits and practical outcomes that improve customer and employee experience.

Jacqui Adams, Head of Digital Transformation & National Services, Kinetic IT, said:

“Kinetic IT has a strong reputation for putting customers and communities first, and I’m excited to contribute to that mission. This role represents a unique opportunity to bring together our national capabilities, refine how we deliver services, and build approaches that are simple, responsive, and aligned to the needs of the organisations we support.”

“I’m looking forward to working with Murray and Kinetic IT’s leadership teams across the country to uplift our services practices, strengthen our national frameworks, and support our crew to continue delivering outcomes that matter.”

Jacqui has completed executive education in AI, disruptive strategy, scaled agile and systems thinking through ANU, Harvard Business School and the University of Technology, Sydney. Her appointment supports Kinetic IT’s long-term strategy to enhance operational performance, invest in digital modernisation and deliver high-quality services at a national scale. As Kinetic IT continues to expand its footprint and support increasingly complex environments, strengthened leadership in transformation and national service delivery will play a central role.

Kinetic IT remains focused on building a robust and responsive national capability, supported by leaders who understand the importance of practical innovation, sovereign service delivery and sustainable performance. Jacqui Adams’s appointment is a key step in advancing that vision.
