Kinetic IT has been announced as a finalist in the International Student Employer of the Year category at the upcoming 2025 Study NT International Student Awards.
The awards recognise organisations that champion inclusion and provide meaningful employment opportunities for international students across the Northern Territory.
The annual program also celebrates the achievements of international students and the employers, education providers and community organisations that support them to succeed.
This year’s ceremony will take place on 20 November 2025 in Darwin, hosted by Study NT in partnership with the Northern Territory Government.
For Kinetic IT Account Director Karina Bourne, being recognised as a finalist is a reflection of the company’s commitment to creating workplaces where people from all backgrounds can thrive.
“As a proudly Australian-owned and operated company, Kinetic IT delivers essential IT managed services and digital transformation to government and enterprise customers across the country – and people are at the centre of everything we do.
“International students bring unique perspectives and diversify our teams. They’re not only skilled and motivated, but they’re also engaged in the local IT industry – often volunteering, sharing their experiences, and building strong community networks.”
Karina adds that supporting international students benefits both the individuals and the business.
“By providing pathways for international students to develop their professional skills, we’re also enriching our own workplace culture and strengthening the local tech ecosystem. Their enthusiasm and adaptability inspire those around them and help us all grow together.”
Across Australia, Kinetic IT’s workforce reflects a diverse mix of experiences and perspectives, from graduates and trainees to seasoned industry professionals.
The company’s inclusive culture, flexible career pathways, and focus on people-first leadership make it a sought-after employer for emerging talent seeking to launch or grow their IT careers.
The Study NT International Student Awards, to be held 20 November, will see finalists and winners recognised for their outstanding contributions across education, community, and workplace engagement.
Kinetic IT congratulates all nominees and looks forward to celebrating with the international student community in Darwin this November.
