Victoria Police has entered a new phase in its digital transformation journey, renewing its partnership with Australian technology services provider Kinetic IT in a new $100 million agreement over the next 5 years.
The multi-year agreement will see Kinetic IT continue to provide mission critical IT services across Victoria Police’s statewide operations, supporting the organisation’s ongoing focus on service continuity, digital modernisation, and community safety. The two organisations first partnered in 2015.
As Victoria Police continues to strengthen its technology capability, this renewed partnership with Kinetic IT will provide the operational reliability foundation to enable its digital growth strategy.
Key to this is ensuring members and staff continue to have reliable, secure and connected technology solutions to deliver essential policing services for the Victorian community.
This next phase of Victoria Police and Kinetic IT’s partnership will add focus on modernising and evolving key areas such as hybrid infrastructure, high security cloud, service management and support function integration.
As well as this, Kinetic IT will continue to help ensure Victoria Police’s ICT environment remains resilient, scalable and responsive to the changing needs of modern policing.

This strategic partnering approach has led to a relational agreement that assures achievement of mutually agreed service improvement and innovation benefits.
