Kinetic IT retains Scopism SIAM Assured status for a second year.

Kinetic it retains hero

Kinetic IT has retained its globally recognised Service Integration and Management (SIAM) accreditation for a second consecutive year, with re-accreditation confirmed through to June 2027.

It’s a significant feat for the sovereign, Australian-owned technology and systems integration partner – Kinetic IT is now the first organisation in the Southern Hemisphere to achieve and retain Scopism SIAM Assured Service Provider status. The company first achieved the accreditation in 2025, becoming the first provider in Australia and only the second globally to do so.

Scopism is the global authority on Service Integration and Management practices, introducing the SIAM Assured accreditation program in early 2025.

Independent accreditation has become one of the few common reference points that lets buyers compare providers on a like-for-like basis, rather than taking claims on faith. For procurement teams across government and critical infrastructure, under growing pressure to choose service integration partners they can trust, SIAM Assured is a robust, verifiable mechanism to do this at pace.

The assessment, carried out by Scopism assessor Tony Williams, examined Kinetic IT’s Service Integration and Management (SIAM) capability across its work with State Government and Critical Infrastructure, Federal Government and Defence, and its Professional Services group.

Williams described the depth and structure of this year’s submission by Kinetic IT as a strength, with particular recognition for the evidence provided around governance, risk management, sustainability and innovation.

The 2026 assessment also tracked progress against feedback from the previous cycle. Kinetic IT’s SIAM Operational Risk Management Tool, now deployed within federal government customer environments, gave the assessor a concrete example of how SIAM-specific risk is identified and escalated across a multi-vendor environment.

As well as the operational risk tool, Kinetic IT’s sustainability commitments were cited in the assessment – with the organisation now backed by an ISO 14001-certified environmental management system. Kinetic IT’s award-winning AVA virtual agent – already handling close to 80 percent of monthly call volume at Qantas Group – was cited as a practical example of automation reducing waste across the service chain.

Kinetic IT remains the only Scopism SIAM Assured provider in Australia, a position that reflects more than 15 years of SIAM delivery and a long-standing role in shaping the discipline itself.

The result also reflects sustained work from Kinetic IT’s SIAM specialists – including Michelle Major-Goldsmith and Simon Dorst, both Lead Architects on the global SIAM Body of Knowledge – whose work underpins the rigour the assessment recognised.

Michelle and Simon are founding architects of the Scopism SIAM Foundation Body of Knowledge, lead architects for the SIAM Professional Body of Knowledge and its subsequent refreshes, and editors of the ISO/IEC 20000-14 international standard for service integration.

For organisations evaluating service integrators, what accreditation provides in practice is a shortcut through an otherwise difficult comparison.

That customer assurance is what drives the renewal process as much as the credential itself, said Cassie Loder, Kinetic IT’s Chief Customer Officer.

“Our customers are managing increasingly complex, multi-vendor environments, often with significant security and continuity requirements. What SIAM Assured gives them is confidence, that our approach to integration, governance and risk management has been independently tested and proven in practice.

“For government and critical infrastructure organisations in particular, that matters. They need to know the integration layer is operating as it should, reducing risk, providing control, and enabling everything above it to perform. That’s what this accreditation validates for them.”

Kinetic IT extends its thanks to Scopism assessor Tony Williams and Director Claire Agutter, whose assessment recognised the specialist customer outcomes the SIAM practice continues to deliver.
