It’s been a decade shaped by resilience, service excellence, and a shared commitment to supporting one of Australia’s most iconic brands in achieving its technology goals.

Founded in 1920, Qantas has grown into Australia’s largest airline and one of the most recognised brands in the world.

Renowned for safety, reliability and customer service, Qantas has set the benchmark in aviation for more than a century.

Today, Kinetic IT is proud to support the Qantas Group – including Jetstar and several subsidiary businesses – with end-to-end IT services.

Together, we support end users across airports worldwide, with our crew working nationally to deliver technology that keeps Qantas and Jetstar connected and operational.

Kinetic IT crew are embedded at Qantas head office in New South Wales, Jetstar’s Collingwood office in Victoria, and airports across the country.

Every day, they provide frontline tech support, manage incidents, run service integration and automation, and deliver technical services spanning collaboration tools, identity management and infrastructure.

Kinetic IT Group Executive, Cassie Loder, said the team has been proud to support Qantas through myriad events and growth periods.

“Reaching 10 years with Qantas is a milestone we’re very proud of. Over the past decade, our partnership with Qantas has been defined by resilience, innovation and trust.”

When Jetstar Japan joined the Qantas Group fold, we established a bilingual service desk in Sydney and Melbourne, staffed by agents fluent in Japanese language and culture.

This culturally responsive and empathetic approach ensures a seamless experience for Japanese-speaking users.

“Through challenges and periods of rapid growth, our crew have stood shoulder to shoulder with Qantas staff to deliver technology that keeps people connected,” Cassie said.

“We’re incredibly proud of the way this partnership has grown into one of collaboration, innovation and shared success. Thanks to the team at Qantas Group for trusting us to support their people and operations, and we look forward to continuing this strong partnership into the future.”

That resilience continues to pave the way for growth.

By mid-2022, Kinetic IT had expanded its services across the Qantas Group, now including Jetstar, increasing the company’s national footprint and taking on a broader portfolio of responsibilities.

Looking to the future

Today, the Qantas Group and Kinetic IT partnership continues to flourish.

From cloud transformation and workplace modernisation to multilingual support and embedded operations, Kinetic IT is proudly helping Qantas stay resilient, responsive and ready for the future of aviation.

“As we celebrate 10 years flying together, we’re proud of what we’ve achieved – and excited for what’s still to come,” Cassie said.
